About the Author

No one loves students more than Cheryl. She could have settled with founding her own successful public relations and consulting firm, McPhilimy Associates. Instead, she advanced her career even further, branching out into higher education. Since 2006, she has taught at Loyola University Chicago, where she also launched Chicago’s first student-run agency, Inigo Communications. A consummate multitasker, Cheryl is also a career advisor, motivational speaker and published author.
