Wendy’s Words of Wisdom

I was drawn to the YMCA because of its alignment with my personal belief: Always be purposeful in what you do. Over sixteen years later, this still holds true. The Y chooses to make an impact in communities every day, and I get to be a part of that. I also love that my position allows me to champion my love of order and clarity through great design work.

Wendy’s passion for design is only matched by her commitment to social justice and community development. Prior to joining the YMCA of the USA, she worked her way up as a designer for nearly two decades until she realized her true calling – making a positive impact in neighborhoods across the country. As Creative Director, Wendy drives her team to enact lasting change through inspired thinking and powerful, evocative campaigns.
